The Egyptian Russian University received a delegation from the major Russian Universities

Within the framework of the keenness for international cooperation, the constant pursuit of scientific and cultural openness, and the consolidation of joint work with major universities and scientific institutions in various countries of the world, prof. Dr. Sherif Fakhry, president of the Egyptian Russian University, and Prof. Dr. Essam Khamis Ibrahim, Vice President and professor at Alexandria University, received a high-level delegation of presidents, Vice Presidents, and officials of international relations, representing major Russian universities, on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at the university’s headquarters. The delegation was welcomed and presented the most important activities of the Egyptian Russian University, and shed light in detail on the current situation in scientific research at the university.
During the meeting, they emphasized the importance of joint cooperation and discussed the proposed bases to accomplish it. Aspects of joint cooperation were discussed and joint agreements were concluded to exchange visits by students and university professors to give lectures, exchange experiences in the field of publishing scientific research, setting up a mechanism for establishing double academic degrees, training students, and joint supervision of the first university stage during the preparation of graduation projects, as well as for master’s and doctoral students. They also discussed the possibility of transferring study programs between universities, supporting joint assistance in the fields of natural sciences and applied sciences, facilitating the exchange of educational literature, teaching resources and information, in addition to organizing exhibitions and seminars.
Finally, the delegation toured the university campus and inspected the laboratories, workshops, and classrooms in the university faculties.
At the end of the visit, the delegation members praised the warm reception at the Egyptian Russian University.
