A part of "100-year anniversary of the discovery of the tomb of the golden Egyptian King Tutankhamun” celebration at the Egyptian-Russian University

Guests were welcomed to celebrate the “100th anniversary of the discovery of the tomb of the golden Egyptian King Tutankhamun” at the Egyptian Russian University under the auspices of Prof. Sherif Fakhry – President of the Egyptian Russian University, and Prof. Mohamed Orabi – Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, and in the presence of the deans of the university’s faculties and a cohort of faculty members.
The honorable guests are Prof. Dr. Hassan Abdel-Fattah – Former Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Luxor and full-time professor of photography at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University, Prof. Ahmed Abdel Aziz – Former Head of the Sculpture Department and Emeritus Professor of Sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University, Prof. Salah El-Meligy – Former Head of the Fine Arts Sector and Emeritus Professor of Graphics at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University, and founder of the Graphic Department at Al-Zaytoonah University in Jordan, Prof. Fikri Hassan – Director of the Cultural Heritage Program at the French University and Professor of Archeology at the University of London, Prof. Hassan Metwally – Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design at the British University, Ms. Hala Al-Badri – Novelist and media writer and Ms. Buthaina Kamel – Actress and Media presenter. Moreover, among the faculty professors who attended the celebration are Dr. Hussein Al-Shabouri – International Museum expert and owner of many activities in the fields of arts and Prof. Hassan Fedawy – Professor of Scenography.
The celebration began with a ceremony of welcoming the guests by Prof. Sherif Fakhry and Prof. Mohamed Orabi, and the speakers gave introductory and educational lectures related to the program of the ceremony, including artistic, historical and philosophical areas in an attempt to spread knowledge about the archaeological discovery, the Egyptian history and the philosophical inquiry of the ancient Egyptian, and to encourage young researchers to be interested in the ancient and modern history of Egypt.
