Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Sherif Fakhry, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Alaa Al-Batsh, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and to enhance research and innovation, and build and refine students’ knowledge, the Department of Construction Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering at the Egyptian Russian University organized a competition entitled Best Bridge Model (BBM) in its first edition, under the supervision of Prof. Fatma Shaltout, Head of the Department, and Dr. Muhammad Rabah, coordinator and general supervisor of the competition, where students competed to present the best structural model of a bridge made of wood sticks. 9 teams submitted to the competition under the name:
Unique – Pharaohs – Black stars – YM3 – The Eagles – CCC – Pioneers – Infinity – Vimisur
In a big celebration in the building of the Faculty of Engineering,and in the presence of the deans of the faculties of the university, a group of faculty members, the last stage was held where the advanced models were tested, and the result was as follows:
First : Vimisur team
Second : The Eagles
Third ” YM3
