As part of the opening of the student projects exhibition, the Egyptian Russian University inaugurates the Tele Titans scientific association with 100 projects within the opening of the student projects exhibition

Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel Nabi, President of the Egyptian Russian University, announced that the Faculty of Engineering discussed (100) projects for students, from different levels, by the end of the second semester of the academic year (2022-2023) from two departments: “Communication Engineering and Mechatronic Engineering.” He stated that this annual event coincides, this year, with the inauguration ceremony of the Scientific Society for Communication, under the name “Tele Titans”, at the university, by which the exhibition was sponsored and organized this year. Moreover, he praised the projects submitted by the students, which included creative ideas that show promised cadres capable of bearing responsibilities. He noted that the departments of Communication Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, and Robotics at the Faculty of Engineering have been accredited by the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education and Accreditation. The process of accreditation is underway for the following Engineering Departments: “Construction and Architecture”, with the full support of Dr. Mohamed Kamal El-Sayed Mostafa, Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees.

Dr. Alaa Mohamed Al-Batsh, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, asserted that the Student Projects Exhibition was attended by nearly (350) students from various academic teams in the Departments of Communication Engineering and Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering to enhance the educational process and provide students with unique experiences that combine academic content, training and application. This combination aims to prepare competitive and qualified students for the labor market. He explained that the students have designed and manufactured a large number of systems in communications, robots, simulations, and artificial intelligence. In addition, they have implemented what they learned in their courses. It is worth noting that this exhibition comes annually in to encourage students to scientific research and innovation, and to open the way for students to share their ideas, solve some societal problems and make life easier for citizens.

Furthermore, Dr. Shaima Mostafa, Head of the Department of Communication at the Faculty of Engineering, clarified that the department contains a large number of courses related to communications and satellite communication systems which makes the faculty distinguished compared to its counterparts in other universities. She illustrated that the activities of the exhibition ended with the selection of the best and finest projects by the jury, from the department’s professors, and guests, from specialists, professionals and industrialists, who promised to sponsor a number of projects in the coming period and try to apply and support them.

Dr. Tamer Saleh, Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Engineering, stated that the presented projects discussed a number of important technological aspects, including: what is related to artificial intelligence, the Internet of things, control, robots, electronics, and computers. He mentioned that these projects were under the supervision of a number of professors of the Department of Communication and Mechatronics: Dr. Ahmed Siddik, Dr. Marwa Hamed, Dr. Tamer Saleh, Dr. Muhammad Maher and Dr. Omar Fathy.”

In addition, Dr. Mohamed Maher, Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication, indicated that the students efforts in the exhibition resulted in many successes in the event, including attracting a number of businessmen and important figures from mobile and renewable energy companies. The attendees are from prominent figures and important officials in the mobile companies who are among first batch graduates from the Department of Communication at the faculty, and they are currently occupying high positions in these companies, according to Dr. Mohamed Maher.

Moreover, professors, the jury, industrialists and specialists praised the students’ great efforts in creating and presenting distinguished and diverse projects that keep pace with the great industrial and technological development and contribute to improving the quality of life. Among the guests are: Dr. Abeer Salah, Director of Science and Technology Center of Excellence and Assistant Chairman of the Board of Directors, Eng. Nanis Mustafa, Senior Computer Researcher, Eng. Mohamed Shalaby, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Small Industries Association, and some of the university graduates who held high positions in mobile, communications and renewable energy companies, namely: Eng. Hussein Mohamed CO Founder For Blue Array For Energy Solutions, Eng. Mahmoud Shaker, Voice Access SOC Supervisor, Eng. Ahmed Munib, Senior network infrastructure engineer Orange business.

Last but not least, the students who won the projects competition for the academic year (2022-2023) in the Departments of Communication Engineering and Mechatronic Engineering are:

– Mohamed Wael, Nada Wael, Noha Wael, and Hossam Hassan for a project entitled: “Smart Talking Humanoid Robot Just with Arduino! An intelligent robot that can talk.”

– Ahmed Hisham and Abdel Aziz Ayman for a project entitled: “Real time alcohol detector and cut off engine”.

– Ahmed Salama, Muhammad Hegazy, Nagy Muhammad, Zahraa Walid, Ahmed Muhammad Atef, and Abdel-Rahman Awad for a project entitled: “Different amplifier circuits with high gain and best performance”.

– Habiba Muhammad, Uday Dalloul, Yousra Ibrahim, Muhammad Mahdi, and Bilal Al-Ghandour for a project entitled: “Tetris game”.

– Youssef Mohamed, Youssef Ahmed, Mohamed Ali, Mohamed Ahmed, Aya Salah, and Iman Mohamed for a project entitled: “Six servo robot arm”.
