Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel Nabi, President of the Egyptian Russian University, announced that the Council of Ministers agreed to amend some provisions of Presidential Decree No. 256 of 2006 regarding the establishment of the “Egyptian Russian University” in Badr City in Cairo, and the decision stipulated that Article 3 of the decision should be amended. (56) for the year 2006, by replacing item (3) with the title “Faculty of Management, Economics and Business Technology” and adding four new colleges: “Applied Arts, Fine Arts, Al-Alsun, Languages ​​and Technology, and the College of Computers and Artificial Intelligence”; In preparation for the issuance of a republican decision on this amendment.

The President of the Egyptian Russian University explained that due to the importance of the “field of computers, information and artificial intelligence”, which represents the basis for future development, the university requested approval to separate the “Faculty of Management, Professional Technology and Computers” to become two faculties: “The Faculty of Management, Economics and Business Technology, and the Faculty of Management, Economics and Business Technology, and the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence”, believing in the civilized and societal role played by the Egyptian Russian University, and seeking to develop human resources, which is the mainstay of economic and social progress.

Dr. Sherif Fakhry Mohamed Abdel Nabi added that within the framework of the university’s plan, which aims to expand the establishment of colleges, and add new specializations through distinguished educational programs required by the labor market; The university enjoys a comparative advantage in it due to its multiple relations with Russian universities. He explained that approval had been requested to establish the “College of Applied Arts, the College of Fine Arts, and the College of Al-Alsun and Technical Languages”; It is expected that a republican decision on these amendments will be issued in the near future
