The participation of the Egyptian Russian University in the Universities Chess Championship
The university’s chess team participated in the Universities Championship (Martyr Ibrahim Al-Rifai Championship for the 49th session) for the 2021/2022 academic season within the tournaments organized by the Egyptian Universities Sports Federation, which was held at Menoufia University on Saturday, November 11, 2021, with the participation of 22 public and private universities and a total of 44 contestants.
The university team included:
- Student Makarios Abdo Suleiman (Faculty of Pharmacy), who participated in the chess tournament (singles)
- Student Paula Joseph Ratib (Faculty of Engineering), who participated in the Chess Championship (singles)
