The selection of Mustafa Tarek, the student at the Faculty of Engineering, as an ambassador for Huawei Academy in the Egyptian-Russian University

In the presence of Prof. Dr. Sherif Fakhry, President of the Egyptian-Russian University, Prof. Dr. Hisham Farouk, Assistant of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Digital Transformation, Dr. Haitham Hamza, Head of the Central Department of Scholarships at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and a number of university presidents in Egypt, along with a group of deans from the faculties of engineering and faculties of computing and information in various public universities, Huawei Technologies Egypt, the world leader in the field of information and communication technology solutions, launched the “Huawei Academy Ambassadors” program. This program aims to prepare a group of cadres and talents who previously participated in Huawei Academies and provide them with the necessary skills to be representatives of the Academy. The celebration was also witnessed by Prof. Dr. Hisham Fathy (Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence and General Supervisor of the Huawei Academy branch at the Egyptian-Russian university) and Dr. Tamer Saleh (Teacher in the Department of Communications Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering and the Executive Director of the Academy at the university).
It Is worth noting that Mustafa Tarek (a student at the Bachelor’s degree in the Department of Communications Engineering, Faculty of Engineering) was chosen as an ambassador for Huawei Academy for the Egyptian-Russian University. He was also honored for ranking first among the ambassadors at the level of Egyptian public and private universities for his excellence and obtaining international certificates that qualify him for this. He also qualified to represent Egypt in the finals in the continent of Africa and won first place with a score of “960/1000”.
The celebration was followed by a discussion on the role of universities and the private sector in preparing young people for the future of work in the digital economy. Prof. Dr. Sherif Fakhry, President of the University, spoke about the opportunities that universities provide to their students in order to develop their digital skills to qualify them for the labor market. Student Mustafa Tarek also talked about the benefit he received as a trainee at Huawei Academy at the Egyptian-Russian University.
