He added that the students implemented the models in various methods, including manual, mechanical and 3D printing, and that the exhibition has achieved the desired goals, which is the students’ implementation of 3D models using 2D graphics to show their understanding of what they studied in the course.

Prof. Dr. Fatima Shaltout, Head of the Construction Engineering Department at the Faculty of Engineering at the Egyptian Russian University, praised the students of the preparatory level for what they saw and their value of models made of wood, metal and paper materials that represent the connections used in metal structures and bridges, and confirmed that this indicates students’ understanding of the scientific content of the engineering drawing subject taught to the preparatory students. These models confirm the college’s keenness to support the study with realistic examples to increase the engineering sense of the students and link the study to the practical reality and increase their knowledge of the urban renaissance that the country is witnessing as building bridges and modern cities with distinctive and unique urban characteristics.

For his part, Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Hassanein, a teacher in the Department of Construction Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering at the Egyptian Russian University, added that the exhibition was attended by many academic and professional leaders from inside and outside the university and a delegation from the Egyptian Space Agency, who praised the level at which the students appeared while stepping their first steps on the ladder of success wishing them a bright professional future achieving all their goals.
