ERU Faculty of Engineering Students Received the ITAC Initiative Funding

As part of the ITAC-ITIDA initiative competition, affiliated with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Faculty of Engineering students secured funding for two ERU graduation projects from the Mechatronics & Robotics Engineering and Communications Engineering departments. The two graduation projects are working in an integrated system to design and implement an electric car equipped with modern smart systems to assist driving and to monitor driver performance.
ADAS: Advanced Driver Assistance System (Mechatronics)
SDMS: Smart Driver Monitoring System (Communications)

Such achievement is under the supervision of Dr. Abdullah Al-Ramsisi. It is worth noting that these two projects have also received additional financial support from the Egyptian Russian University.
In the same context, students of the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering, participated by the ADAS project within the activities of the exhibition of the international company VALEO specialized in manufacturing systems and software for smart cars VALEO TALENT DEMO day. ERU students received certificates of appreciation and distinction During the graduation project exhibition. The ceremony included 38 projects from 17 public and private universities. The VALEO company conducted job interviews for students as part of the celebration activities, and three of the students participating in the project have already been selected to be employed.
