A Cooperation Protocol between the Egyptian Russian University and the Supreme Council of Universities for training and examinations in Digital Transformation Basics Certificate programs

Professor Sherif Fakhry, President of the Egyptian Russian University, and Professor Mostafa Rafaat, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Universities, signed a joint cooperation protocol between the Egyptian Russian University and the Supreme Council of Universities to initiate training and award the digital transformation certificate accredited by the ‘Digital Transformation Center’ on campus. This comes within the serious steps to implement the digital transformation policy at the university and achieve Egypt’s Vision 2030 for sustainable development. It also aligns with the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research which aims at enhancing the quality of education, scientific research, and their applications. Moreover, it aims at preparing graduates for the job market, enabling them to innovate, lead entrepreneurial endeavors, and build a knowledge-based economy. These are the primary and essential requirements to empower the university and civil society to adapt and evolve, empowering them with information technology and its applications. The signing took place at the headquarters of the Supreme Council of Universities at Cairo University, attended by Dr. Tamer Saleh, Director of the Digital Transformation Center at the Egyptian Russian University, Dr. Ashour Omari, Director of the Electronic and Cognitive Services Center at the Supreme Council of Universities, and Dr. Mohamed Hassan Gad, Director of the Central Unit for Information Technology Training at the Supreme Council of Universities.
