A symposium at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Egyptian Russian University to present the Bio-iChallenge program to support innovation.

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ihab Fattouh, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and within the framework of working to provide students with the expertise and technical skills required for the labor market, and motivating them to participate in the Bio-iChallenge program to support innovation and provide solutions to the challenges facing the Egyptian industry, which was launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research funded by “Sponsoring Innovators and Geniuses”. The College of Pharmacy organized an introductory seminar about the program, presented by Prof. Dr. Nermin Salah Ahmed, Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Program Director at the Innovators Fund.
Dr. Nermin Salah explained that the program targets final and pre-final year students in Egyptian universities to compete so as to provide innovative ideas and solutions in the areas of food, health, beauty products, and biotechnology in implementation of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research 2030. She explained the details of how to participate, and indicated that at the end of the program, honoring will be held for the participating teams, academic supervisors, and industrial partners. She motivated the students to participate in the program, as among the advantages provided by the program is the provision of facilities and equipment from participating companies to implement the project with the best quality, and use the scientific and technical capabilities available at the participating universities and research centers.
