On Sunday 9 / 7 / 2023, the Egyptian Russian University welcomed the children participating in the fifth and sixth stages of the Children’s University program for the academic year 2022-2023, which is organized by the university under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Sherif Fakhry, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Saqr, President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, Dr. Gina El-Feki, Executive Director of the Program at the Academy, and Dr. Heba Abu Steit, Coordinator of the Children’s University at the Egyptian Russian University. The activities started with the “Egyptology” course, where children were hosted at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the university, and a simplified explanation of the Egyptian heritage was presented and how to preserve and document it, and the practical application was done by explaining how to restore small antiquities to restore its shape, preserve the Egyptian identity and preserve the great monuments of Egypt.
